Independent, rigorous, and useful journalism — reimagined through warmth, empathy, and clarity.
At The Brand Side, we reimagined the visual identity of La Encerrona, the multiplatform news show created by Marco Sifuentes, which has become a daily reference for thousands of Peruvians, both in the country and abroad. A medium that enters through the ears, that doesn’t shout but informs. That contextualizes. That filters.
The mission was clear: to build a visual system that matched the content delivering messages that are clear and impactful through typography. An identity that doesn’t overshadow the message, but reinforces its unique proposal: to deliver useful, filtered, and well-explained news with clarity of thought.
To achieve this, we developed a graphic universe inspired by archives, research, and the backstage of journalism. Folders, labels, highlights, and editorial cues became design elements that reflect the behind-the-scenes rigor where true objectivity happens. All of it within a visual system that is flexible, accessible, and fit for podcasts, social media, video, and more.
A brand identity for a news outlet that doesn’t chase clicks it fosters understanding.
A space where everyone belongs.
